Writing can be a very enjoyable work to do… except of course when you have “no time” to do it. There was once a dog owner in the name of Karl Ove Knausgaard, who blamed his inability to write to the fact that he owned a dog, and that it took SO MUCH TIME to tend to that he no longer had time to sit down and write.
– There are many possible reasons why potential writers can’t push through with their goal.
– Most of the time, they blame it on the lack of resources, like time.
– One author blames having a dog for his lack of time.
Do you agree?
While it may be true that dogs CAN sometimes be a handful (some owners even equate it with having kids, or worse!). Majority of dog lover though, do not necessarily see their furry friends as a burden; but rather as an inspiration.
So recently, more and more researcher and writers have been questioning the veracity of Karl Ove Knausgaard’s claim on the matter.
It turned out though, that he could be wrong. When history was checked, it was revealed that the majority of famous writers ACTUALLY owned a dog or two!
It goes to show that dogs do not impede a real writer’s genius mind.
