Does The iPhone 5 Have Better Battery Life?
Prior to its release, Apple has advertised the iPhone 5 to have better battery life. Recent analysis however is proving this claim to not be true. Well, this should go at least to those who use their iPhones in areas where services are sketchy. iLounge, an iOS accessory blog, published a detailed analysis on the battery life of the iPhone when it was tested under many conditions including cellular browsing, Wi-Fi browsing, Facetime calls, audio and video playback.

Purple Flare is something that comes straight right out of Instagram. Perhaps a new filter they added during an update. However, Purple Flare is actually a moniker for a glitch found in iPhone 5’s camera. Users of the new device have been reporting strange purple flares when they take photos facing the sunlight or other bright light sources.

Jim Seida, news photographer for NBC News spent a whole day shooting still photographs using different mobile phones including the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5. He also used the Nikon P7000, a high-end point and shoot camera. The verdict? The iPhone 5’s camera performed really well, but it did not really outperform the iPhone 4S.
There was one way the iPhone 5’s camera bested that of the 4S and it was that photos were a slight bit underexposed. The front facing camera on the other hand is extremely high end, brining 1.2 megapixel still cameras and 720 HD quality videos ……………………………….. read more: http://www.nbcnews.com/
