When Steve Jobs was alive, he never hesitated to let the world know that he hated Google’s Android system. In fact, he wanted to “annihilate” Android as best as he could because it was a “stolen” product. Just last week, Apple hit Android where it hurts, taking damages worth $1.05 billion against one of the top makers of Android phones, Samsung.

Just as speculations say that Apple will release the iPhone 5 this September, netizens are also abuzz about the probable release of the iPad Mini by October of this year. While there is no exact date, rumors are strong about the month. It is good to take rumors with a grain of salt though, considering that there are no official announcements to back up the story of an actual iPad Mini.

Higher Prices For Android Devices As Opposed To iPads and iPhones?
Apple has experienced sweet victory against Samsung last week, when the latter was convicted of patent infringement against the former. The court has ordered Samsung to pay a whopping sum of 1.05 billion dollars in damages. What does that mean for end users? Well, for one newer phones and features may be more expensive. Likewise, newer Samsung and Android devices may not have the similar look and feel as it has now, and may no longer have these features, which users enjoy – scrolling, pinch to zoom and multi-tapping.
