A dispute on a patent is ongoing between Motorola and Microsoft. Motorola was recently purchased by Google, and the dispute currently threatens to have the Xbox 360 banned in the United States. Why? The dispute starts with ActiveSync, which is available for Android phones. What Microsoft demands is royalties for ActiveSync, and settlements have occurred for most manufacturers.
