Will Russell Brand Face Jail Time Over iPhone Row?

Actor and comedian Russell Brand was recently charged with misdemeanor when he threw a photographer’s iPhone through a window last May 15 in New Orleans. He may face up to six months in prison for this charge. He was arrested on March 15 for the incident and was released on bail for $5,000. His lawyer in New Orleanse, Robert Glass, could not be contacted for a comment.

Aside from one count of misdemeanor, Brand was also charged with criminal damage to property, since he broke the glass of a downtown law office after throwing the iPhone ………………….. read more:

iPhone Fraudster Frauded Over $15,000?

A New Zealand woman admitted for frauding as much as $15,000 after posing as a seller for various auctions. Between April 14 to May 16, 2011, Kerry Anne Moke-Amotawa used her computer and logged on into several auction sites in the country like Trade and Exchange, Trade Me, secondhand.co.nz, sella.co.nz and Buy Sell and Exchange where she advertised the sale of iPhones. She plead guilty for using the internet for dishonest purposes and was convicted on 24 counts.
