Should PlayStation Vita Fans Be Mad by The Angry Birds Snub?
The Angry Birds Triloy which comprises the three titles – Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons will be available to gaming consoles soon. These include the Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Rovio, the makers of Angry Birds left out the Angry Birds Space game, though. The game is extremely popular in tablets and smartphones, so why are they made available in consoles but not on the handheld consoles like the PlayStation Vita?

Auckland, New Zealand – July 12, 2012 was the day when the Vodafone PlayStation challenge was held. What was the event all about? Well, some of the country’s leading musicians, sports players and media personalities were pitted against each other in a contest that tested gaming skills. The results? Musician Che Fu and NZ Gamer editor Alan Bell emerged as he winners of the event. The two winners did not just get bragging rights as winners, but also won $1000 gift cheques which will be given to their chosen charities.

How Is The PlayStation Vita Sales In Japan?
Sony continues to experience consumer doldrums in terms of console sales. To date, the Nintendo 3DS continues to be the top-selling device for the week, although their sales did drop by more than 10,000 units. The PS Vita also had a bad performance, having a 50% drop of sales from last week. Last week, they sold 22,638 consoles but the sales dropped down this week to just 11,544.
