iPads To Replace In-Seat Televisions on Airplanes?
The iPad is a great device to keep people entertained on trips, and more and more airlines are starting to take cue. A Singaporean airline, Scoot Pte, is now providing customers with new iPads during the flight. If other airlines follow this move, this will mean ripping out bulky TV monitor sets from airline seats. When this happens, this will decrease the weight of the airplane extensively, adding as much as 40% more seating weight capacity.
