While the iPhone has always been crème of the crop for a long time, the phone arena now welcomes and new and somewhat better contender – the Samsung Galaxy S3. The phone has wowed many all over the world and has received high ratings. Today, the S3 is the top contender for the iPhone 4S alongside the HTC One X. In fact, many magazines have hailed it as being light years ahead of the 4S and has succeeded in toppling the 4S.

Word is in – the iPhone 4S is no longer the top phone in the United Kingdom. This is based on internet searchers and local sales. Last month, the iPhone 4S was on the top spot of the list kicking out the Samsung Galaxy S2. However, with the Samsung Galaxy S3 released, it made its way to the top spot stealing the spotlight from Apple’s darling. Today, the top one is the Galaxy S3; with the iPhone 4S in top two and the Galaxy S2 in top three.
