The service has been popular as a desktop application in the past, but is now available on mobile devices and can be used over 3G, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi.

Spotify has just released its official application for the iPad, and is described by one Spotify executive as one of the most beautiful screens they have every designed as an app. Spotify currently has applications for Mac, PC and Android, and the iPad version is the newest. Execs announce that an Android app version may be out in the market within the next few weeks or so.
