When the new iPad was released, Apple continued to sell the iPad 2, albeit at a lower price of $399. This has attracted quite a number of buyers, especially those in the education field. Time Cook – CEO of Apple – predicted that the lower price of the iPad would be enticing to many people and would broaden its potential buyers. The iPad, today, continues to win the hearts of many institutions, especially those in the K to 12 for learning purposes. In fact K to 12 institutions are buying more iPads in comparison to Macs.
iPad and Mac Hybrid – Is That Even Possible
Waiting for that possible release of a Macbook and iPad hybrid? Well, that isn’t going to happen soon – with Apple’s CEO Tim Cook himself brushing off the idea. The idea was brought up by an analyst, but Cook shot down the idea, calling it a compromise for the consumer.
