How Many Tablet PCs Will Be Sold This Year?

Reports say that tablet PC sales will be as much as 120 million units for 2012 – a huge jump for last’s year’s figures. The projected sales are at 118.9 million which shows a 98% increase from last year’s sales. As usual, the iPad is expected to dominate the market, such as it did last year when it sold 40 million iPads. With the release of the new iPad, Apple is expected to continue dominating the market. Other takers of the pie include Amazon and its Kindle, Samsung Electronics and HTC.
