A woman from Canada is suing Apple, the makers of iPhones, iPads and iPods. In fact, she is also seeking to make that lawsuit a class-action suit. The lawsuit against charges the behemoth company due to violation of security rights and privacy of owners of iPhones, iPads and iPods.
The woman, Amanda Ladas, said that the tracking device in their three Apple mobile devices provided strangers the capacity to follow their movements even without their knowledge. We all know about Siri, which has taken the world by storm when the iPhone 4S was released. And of course, we also know about Samsung’s S-Voice which is Siri’s competitor. Now, Google has also updated its search app, providing a voice search functionality which poses a threat to Siri. The app is available for free.
Google answers questions two ways. If the answers are short, it will speak the answer, but for more complicated ones, it will provide you with options and list of possible answers and their links on the screen. Will Pentagon Be Using iPhones Instead Of Blackberry Devices?
Last week, they invited companies to submit bids for apps that could manage, monitor and enforce security requirements for Apple and Android devices. This indeed means that Pentagon is moving forward with its plans to use Apple Inc’s iPhone and Android devices for all of its employees. For many years, Pentagon has been using Blackberry mobile phones due to RIM meeting all of its very tough security requirements.
