What’s In Store For HP’s New Tablet PC?
HP has recently announced its new tablet PC, the Windows 8 powered device – HP Elitepad 900. This device was first seen in very mysterious TV ads which were played during the Olympics last July. The device runs on Microsoft’s latest generation OS and comes with a 10-inch screen width. Apart from that, it will also run on the Intel Atom processor and will come with 2GB RAM and will gave either a 32 or 64 GB solid state storage.

A new survey done by Ericsson ConsumerLab reports that the Philippines is now the top emerging market in Southeast Asia for tablets and smartphones. Tablet penetration in the country has increased from 6% to 13% by year end, with results coming from consumer-based interest. The motivating factors for tablet purchases include access to latest apps and features as well as internet surfing.
