If you need any proof that Mobile devices are becoming a serious platform that will likely render PSP’s and Gameboy’s a thing of the past, this is it. This racing game when played on the Ipad would have Gran Turismo feeling a little bit nervous. HD graphics, hundreds of cars to choose from, customisation options for each vehicle and smooth gameplay have to be seen to be believed. This is the future of iPhone titles.
7. Starfront: Collision
Starcraft on the Iphone. It’s a pretty unapologetic clone of Starcraft, despite the fact that it only takes the better portions of SC and isn’t the most polished game, well.....it’s SC, there is no going wrong with this app.
8. Tiny Tower
This is a really quirky, but interesting and fun game that makes you a Landlord who must care for a tower, build new apartments, manage tenants and grow a business. It’s a very funky and cartoonish game reminiscent of the Nintendo era, I enjoyed every minute of it and still am playing it.
9. Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP
This is a fantastic RPG adventure, how this wasn’t picked up by Sony is beyond me. It is neck and neck with Zelda, Final Fantasy and all those big name titles. The script is better than most movie scripts that have been made into films over the last decade. This game is real treat.
10. Dead Space
Dead Space, if you’re a console gamer you’re likely familiar with this scintillating title, further proof that Mobile gaming is no longer just a past time. It’s mind boggling that EA managed to port such a goliath of a game to this mobile OSthis application? The game plays very similar to its Xbox counterpart and is just as terrifying. Very impressive, it would higher on my list if it wasn’t a port.
