Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Review

“Command and Conquer was one of the first RTS game ever and has spawned a myriad of sequels and expansions.  Red Alert 3 although contains a new faction is all too familiar and doesn’t really feel all that different from its predecessor.” Command and conquer is a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously, basically what happens in this game is the soviets travel back in time to kill Einstein which causes the Japanese to rise up for some reason.  It’s kind of similar to the previous one where Einstein travelled back in time to kill Hitler but it’s basically an excuse for there to be a game, needless to say the story doesn’t really make much sense.
New to Red Alert 3 is a new fraction, you no longer just have the Soviets and the Allies, but rather Japan has joined the mix which is a radically different fraction from the Soviets and Allies.
The game features over the top live action cutscenes with some notable Hollywood actors, as well as some over the top extremely attractive women dressed in military uniforms that ultimately end up looking like Hookers that are just really good looking, honestly this aspect of the game alone makes it worth checking out (no pun intended), these girls are hot.

Units between the fractions are also pretty diverse, the Japanese of course are the most unique out of the two fractions, featuring a number of units which transform into other units, ground units that become air units and so forth, the Japanese have the cool technology as you might expect to be the case.  There are some balance issues with the units in the game, the Japanese although they certainly have the craziest and coolest units, I did notice had some major tactical flaws, they had almost no sea based or anti air units, which made them constantly vulnerable to incoming air or sea based attacks and also limited their attacking capabilities.  So certainly the newly introduced race could have used some more fine-tuning.  Put it this way, the races are nowhere near as balanced as they are in Starcraft.
The graphics are vibrant, everything’s very colourful and looks very good, but ultimately it’s all too familiar to its predecessor, while the graphics have been updated, the animations and game play remains much the same, the experience will be all too familiar to you and won’t feel like anything’s new aside from the new races, other than that Red Alert 3 doesn’t bring anything new to the table.  Having said this all joking aside the sexy women in uniform alone might make this one worth checking out.
Rating: 80% -“10% of this was given to sexy girls featured in this game.”
Pros:
Really Hot girls make the cinematics a reward to watch
Features a whole new faction which add a new aspect to Red Alert’s game play
Updated graphics
Cons:
The story is basically an excuse for there to be a Red Alert 3
Very familiar in terms of game play, if you played Red Alert 2 this game won’t have much new to really offer
