Why ever for?

That’s the 11 year old’s homework assignment.  His sixth grade class has been studying Ancient Egypt for the past few weeks and so the news that King Tut’s head is going on exhibit along with the other relics from his tomb that have been traveling around the museum circuit came at just the right time.

His class read the newspaper articles, watched a video clip, and then were given the question to answer in a short essay last night. 

Unwrap the boy king?  Yea or nay?

Presumably the anti point of view has to include more than, No, it’s yucky!

What’s to be gained, scientifically, culturally, spiritually, whateverly by our being able to look at Tut’s mummified mug?

The 11 year old took the pro-ghoul position and he’s already written his essay, so you won’t be doing his homework for him.
